World's best chef Benoit Violier dies aged 44

"Such talent, and an amazing capacity for work. He was so kind, with so many qualities. He gave the impression of being perfect."<br /><br />French chef Pierre Gagnaire tweeted: "My thoughts go out to Benoit Violier's family. Very sad news about an extremely talented chef."

I just went for help. My life will never be the same again."Hughes admitted taking the key to her car and her Santander bank card after the assault.</span></blockquote><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">He then walked back into the village of Mumbles and drove her car to his flat, where he drank some vodka before crashing the car.<br />Hughes said:</span><blockquote class="tr_bq"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">"I cannot remember drinking but I must have because I was drunk when the police arrested me.</span></blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq"><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">"I wish I could turn the clock back. I regret what I did that day," he added.Hughes had been jailed in 2013 for three years and nine months for three separate assaults on Ms Gwilym and one of false imprisonment.</span></blockquote><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">He said while he was in prison Stacey wrote to him and after his release they resumed their relationship and in July, 2015, she agreed to marry him.<br />Hughes said he had never intended to resume his relationship with Ms Gwilym and had asked her to marry him only "to make her happy."<br />He told the court Ms Gwilym had accused him of stealing money from her and said she would get him sent back to prison.<br /><br /><i>Daily Mirror </i></span></div>

Ibrahim allegedly defrauded one Chief Ogwu Onoja (SAN) by offering to assist him in the payment of fees and processing of Certificate of Occupancy in respect of Mighty Star Academy.<br />The defendant was allegedly entrusted with the total sum of N12,102,824.00 (twelve million, one hundred and two thousand, eight hundred and twenty four naira) to process the document with the assurance that it will be ready in three months. The accused person took the money and has been keeping the victim’s hope hanging for over three and a half years.</span><a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /><br />The accused pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him. In view of his plea, counsel to the EFCC, Msuur Denga asked the court to fix a date for trial to commence.<br /><br />Responding, the defence counsel, Princley Uchechukwu, through an oral application, urged the court to admit the accused to bail adding that, he would not do anything to frustrate his trial. Daily Sun gathered that the incident occurred when the middle-aged man whose name could not be ascertained as at press time, allegedly pushed down his 69-year-old father during an argument.<br />Baba Basirat was said to have fallen, collapsed and died instantly.</span><a name='more'></a>On Wednesday morning, the suspect again went wild and vandalised a blue Honda Ac­cord with registration number Lagos, AGL 763 AQ which belonged to his brother-in-law.He was later over-powered, given some sedatives and bound hands and legs. <br />In a bid to cover-up the in­cident from the police and the public, journalists who rushed to the scene of the crime were attacked by family members.<br /><br />Daily Sun gathered that a scuffle had occurred between the father and his son at the entrance when the former took him to church on Tues­day for deliverance from drug addiction.<br />It was during the scuffle between them that the son pushed his father who col­lapsed and was later con­firmed dead at a private hos­pital.<br /><br />The 69-year-old man who was an indigene of Ogbo­moso, Oyo State was said to have been rushed to Mercy Hospital in the Onikolobo area of Abeokuta where he was confirmed dead.<br />When our reporter vis­ited the scene, the killer son was said to have been put on sedative and kept in a room with hands and feet tied. The corpse of his father was also being kept in another room.<br /><blockquote class="tr_bq">“As a parent, the father was not happy that the boy smokes Indian hemp and so much has been spent on him and he was not ready to take him to psychiatric hospital because of finance, that was what took them to the church before he came back and broke the wind screen of a car belonging to his brother-in-law.”</blockquote></div>

Subsidy payment till the end of the year has been approved by the National Assembly.
