Gunmen have attacked a dam site in Pakistan's south-western Baluchistan province, killing at least 20 workers and wounding three.
A large group of gunmen attacked a work camp near the construction site in the Gobdan area of district Turbat, overpowered eight security guards and shot sleeping labourers before fleeing, Makran division commissioner Pasand Khan Buledi said.
The commissioner said 16 of the dead were from the Punjab province and four from Sindh province.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Baluchistan is the scene of a low-intensity violence by nationalist and separatist Baluch groups who want a substantial share of revenue from gas and mineral resources and complete autonomy from Islamabad.
