He may be the best-selling salsa artist of all time with a reported fortune of $20.8 million.
But Marc Anthony has never forgotten his more humble roots.
On Sunday the 46-year-old was in Barranquilla, Colombia to open the Maestro Cares Centre, an orphanage and school for 200 children funded by his Maestro Cares charity.
He set up the non-profit with Henry Cárdenas, president and CEO of Cardenas Marketing Network, in 2012 to help disadvantage children in Latin America, according to Fox News Latino.
The two men tapped enough funding to set up their first orphanage and school catering for 100 boys in the Dominican Republic in August 2014.
The centres aim to provide not only a home and education but also health advice and places where the kids can play in safety.
Marc was joined at the new facility by his wife of just five months, model Shannon De Lima, 27.
The You Sang To Me star opted for a smart casual look in a crisp white shirt open to the chest, beige trousers and a black belt with matching shoes.
He wore two long chains with pendants and accessorised with the celebrity must-have dark glasses.
His beautiful blonde wife pulled on a black T-shirt with LOVE printed on the front, black trousers. She threw a red handbag over her shoulder as she accompanied her beau.
