A bomb was detonated in Sabon Gari village market in southern Borno State today killing numerous traders, according to a local vigilante source speaking to SaharaReporters.
Another Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) member, Babagana Iliya, told SaharaReporters ''we heard loud explosions at about 01:35pm. When we arrived there people had scattered, it was not suicide bombers but it [the bomb] was planted at the center of the market.”
Sabon Gari village is settlement along Damboa – Biu road and is 50 kilometers away from Biu, the largest town in southern part of Borno State.
