Jamie Vardy has made history by scoring in ELEVEN consecutive Premier League matches.

The England striker's goal in Leicester's game against Manchester United takes him past former Red Devils man Ruud van Nistelrooy, who previously held the record.

The Dutchman notched in ten successive matches between March and August 2003, his strikes spread over two seasons.Vardy has now bettered that feat, going on a sensational scoring spree since his late equaliser away to Bournemouth on 29 August.

He went on to net against Aston Villa, Stoke, Arsenal, Norwich, Southampton, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Watford, before drawing level with Van Nistelrooy in the 3-0 demolition of Newcastle – a result that put Leicester top of the league heading into this weekend's action.
